LEICA SUMMILUX-R 50MM F1.4. DUCLOS-CINEVISED IN CANON EF MOUNT. Duclos-cinevised Leica R 50/1.4 SUMMILUX-R in Canon EF hard mount and recently professionally checked/adjusted for motion work.

Leica R lenses are known for their cinematic/filmic rendering qualities great for taking the edge off today's high-resolution sensors with amazing imagery captured straight from camera. Sought after high-speed vintage Leica R 50mm Summilux lens is from the mid-'80s but is now ready to use on any EF/EOS mount camera. Condition details (see recent photos). 8/10 Cosmetically some light signs of visible use/wear on the black finish as pictured.

No dents, dings or scratches. 8/10 Optically clean and clear for the vintage.

Front element looks excellent, rear element has few small coating marks (photo #3) that have no discernible effect. Otherwise, no scratches, no fungus, no issues. 9/10 Mechanically very smooth focus movement with zero play. Aperture/iris professionally declicked by Duclos.

This lens was recently professionally inspected and adjusted as well. Duclos Cine-Mods were installed at Duclos several years ago but are still in great condition, barely used and with only the slightest signs of use. Our seamless 32-pitch (0,8 module) focus gears are precision machined from solid Black Delrin®, tailored to each lens individually in-house to ensure a no-slip, non-binding reliable fit.

Every gear is machined and installed by a skilled technician on an individual basis to ensure a lifetime of accurate operation. No zips, clips, or 3D prints from Duclos Lenses! Our front rings thread directly into the existing filter threads of your lens and provide a common 80mm outside diameter surface for clamp-on accessories as well as a 77mm filter thread on each ring. Precision machined from billet 6061 aluminum and anodized black for a durable finish. Available sizes range from a mere 47mm all the way up to an 82mm Step-Down ring.

80mm Front Caps are made from a durable, protective thermoplastic polymer (top quality Arriflex). Not only do they keep dust and debris away from your precious glass, they're engineered to absorb impact and keep your lenses as safe as possible. Aperture de-clicking is a vital part of the Cine-Mod.

A true cinema lens features a step-less aperture that allows fine adjustment without "clicking" between f-stops. We use a high-quality lubricant to ensure a professional feel and operation of your lens. Canon EF mount professionally installed by Duclos.
