Leica ELMAR-M 50mm f/2.8 M-mount Lens with Leica UV Filter, Hood, and Caps (USA)

  

First off, I made a rookie mistake and took the pictures above with a red shirt on and didn't bother reshooting, hence the red tint in all the images. This is Leica's last collapsible lens and is especially small on camera when collapsed. The lens is in good working order with almost no signs of wear.

It focuses smoothly and accurately, and the aperture ring has strong clicks. Optically, the lens is near perfect apart from normal dust which doesn't affect image quality. No scratches, fungus, haze, or separation. It comes with a Leica E39 UVa filter, the screw on Leica E39 hood made specifically for this lens, the original metal Leica slip-on lens front cap (inside felt cloth in good condition), and a generic M-mount rear cap.

Just a few things regarding operations of this lens. Check to make sure your camera is compatible with this lens as it can damage some cameras, specifically the light meter if it swings out in front of the focal plain. Always make sure it's extended before shooting since you can still focus and shoot with it collapsed. This lens does not have the typical finger tab or nub for focusing but just a normal focus ring. It's easy to focus though but may take adjusting to if you're used to the tab.
