An extraordinary example of one of Leicas finest lenses - the ultra-high-speed, 50mm f1.4 Summilux. This lens is an M mount and has a serial number of 1702390 which was manufactured in Wetzlar, Germany in 1959.

It is in magnificent like-new condition. I have gone over the lens with a good magnifier and have found no marks or wear anywhere. The lens elements are spotless and the aperture blades are clean and dry.

There is no haze, lint, or mildew anywhere and the focus and aperture are silky smooth. It includes mint front and rear lens caps.

This lens would be a perfect complement to a mint Leica M3 Single Stroke camera body. It is a lens for the perfectionist and admirer of fine craftsmanship.
