Leica Summicron 50mm f/2 Rigid Type 2 Lens LCA'd Vintage Tested M Mount
Here is a Leica Summicron 50mm (5cm) f/2 Rigid style lens. Tested, and in working order.
Just came back from a CLA job from Youxin Ye, of YYeCAMERA, a couple days ago. Here are his comments on the repair job. Summicron 50/2.0 lens - I have the cracked filter removed from the lens. CLA'd, cleaned and lubricated both focus and aperture rings.
Cleaned optics removed haze inside. The last element outer surface has residue fungus lines due to fungus already bite into coating. The lens overall is see through clear now, still a good user lens.
Tested the lens with digital M body, lens is in focus and produce good images. This style of lens was made from 1956 - 1968. Overall in good cosmetic shape.
Includes front cap and a plastic back cap (although not seen in the photos). Does not come with a case but will be packed well.
