Leitz Leica 28mm f5.6 Summaron Lens Leica Screw Mount, LTM, M39
This is the original 28mm Summaron lens. Images straight from the camera have a very distinct look characterized by a sharp center and dramatic vignetting.
Leica has recently reissued an M-mount version of this lens. This lens is in excellent condition. The lens body is very clean. CLA'd by DAG in early 2018.Focusing ring moves smoothly with nice drag. Aperture ring moves freely with positive detents. The glass shows a few minor cleaning/coating marks (rear) and slight amounts of dust. Marks are typical for a lens from this era but there is nothing nasty. I've seen lenses with optics that look like ice rinks and this is not one of them.
